Lilith Pewter Pendant
A hard-to-find pendant of Lilith, the first wife of Adam according to Hebrew legend. The pendant comes with a black woven cord that can be tied to any length or swapped for a chain or cord of your own. Made in the United States of lead-free pewter.
This beautifully cast piece is based on the Babylonian tablet known as the Burney Relief, now in the British Museum. Long associated with Lilith, the carving depicts a winged, bird-footed woman. It may originally have been meant to represent Ishtar or Ereshkigal.
