Smith-Waite Tarot (Centennial Edition)
Artist Pamela Colman Smith is known as one of the unsung heroes of Tarot. For almost a century, her name didn’t even appear on the box of the famous Rider-Waite deck she illustrated and helped create. Recently, for the 100th anniversary for that deck’s publication, US Games produced a commemorative edition dedicated to her legacy.
The Smith-Waite Centennial deck has soft, muted colors that faithfully reproduce the look and feel of the 1909 first printing. It also restores the “Tudor rose” pattern that appeared on the back of the first edition deck. For those who find the Rider-Waite deck too bright or garish, this printing is the perfect alternative.
The 84-card deck includes the standard 78 Tarot cards plus four samples of Pixie’s non-Tarot artwork: Much Ado About Nothing, The Gates of Dreamland, Christmas Carol and Once in a Dream.
This beautiful deck is sure to become a favorite reading deck and valued addition to your collection! Includes instructional booklet.
